Today's posting is specially dedicated to all my overseas friends, they are not coming back to Singapore to celebrate Chinese New Year this year. Hey friends, here are some photos taken in Chinatown, I took them yesterday.

The outcome - Will my maid stay?

If you have been following my blog, you would probably know that a couple of days ago, I posted a Qi Men Dun Jia chart which my friend asked me about her maid whether the maid would continue to work for them? My answer to my friend's question was YES, the maid would continue to stay.

Just a couple of hours ago, my friend text me to inform me that her maid would continue to stay and work for them. Guess this piece of news is good for my friend and this news also proved that Qi Men Dun Jia is a powerful tool, it can be used to predict an event outcome accurately!

Will my maid stay? Using Qi Men Dun Jia chart to check....

*My friend knows that I am in Qi Men Dun Jia 奇门遁甲, recently her maid told my friend that she has the intention to leave the job. My friend is worried so she asked me whether her maid would continue to stay and work for them? Based on the time she asked me the question, the Qi Men Dun Jia chart is as shown in the photo above.

A quick glance on the chart shows that she will continue to stay reason is because she needs this job!

Every year without fail, I will always look forward to Chinese New Year (CNY) period. I always like CNY, maybe this is the only time that I have the chance to catch up with all my friends and relatives. And most importantly, I enjoy the CNY ambience!

Year of Tiger is a Blind Year, therefore not an ideal year to tie the knot?

Blind year is defined as there is no Li Chun 立春 during Lunar New Year. In the case of year 2010, Li Chun 立春 which falls on 4 Feb comes much earlier than the first day of Lunar New Year, 14 Feb 2010. As such, there will be no Li Chun 立春 in this Lunar New Year and this is regarded as Blind Year.

Recently, there was a topic on Blind Year, masters were trying to explain the effects of Blind Year. One of the effects which caught my attention was; Blind Year is not suitable to tie the knots. Some believe that tying the knots during Blind Year would be bad for marriage.

I wondered if that was true, then bridal shops would have closed down during Blind Years! Couples wanted to tie the knots would have shunned those Blind years and how would bridal shops survive if there was no business?

Now, let's look at this issue of Blind Year with a broad mind, if we were to look at those couples who tied their knots during Blind Years, are they all divorced now? Cannot be right?

So does that mean that couples who tied the knots outside Blind years would end up having better relationship? Well, I bet you have the answer to the last question!

In conclusion, please do not hesitate to tie the knots just because it is a Blind Year. Just remember to consult a Fengshui Master to pick an auspicious date to wed, marriage can be good as those who wedded during non-Blind years.

Receive Cai Shen Ye 财神爷 (God of Wealth) on the first day of CNY

Alot of Chinese believe that on the first day of Lunar New Year, if you were to pray to God of Wealth and to receive him at the correct (auspicious) direction and timing, your pocket will be filled with money throughout the whole year! As for businessmen, by receiving God of Wealth, business in that year will grow!

This coming Lunar New Year which falls on 14 Feb 2009. The direction to receive God of Wealth will be at South-east, time is Early Rat Hour which is from 0001hrs to 0059hours. Okay, hope that this new year, God of Wealth will be bringing you alot of wealth.... Gong Xi Fa Cai 恭喜发财！

Back to school..Using Fengshui to improve academic result

Today is first day of school re-open, a special day for kids who start their school life! Nowadays, school assignments are getting much difficult to complete as compared to last time when I was in school.


And back in the 70's or even 80's, using computers to do school assignments were unheard but now, is so common for students to complete their assignments and submit online.


Well, time may have changed the way how students need to submit their assignments. However, using fengshui to improve academic results are still the same. One of the common methods that fengshui masters would advise is using Pagoda, by placing the Pagoda at your academic position, it would enhance your ability to learn and improve your analytical mind.


But did you know that apart from using Pagoda, you can use 4 ink brushes to hang onto a calligraphy stand? This method is as good as using Pagoda to improve your fengshui in academic area. And the reason for using 4 ink brushes is because 4 represents academic star in Flying Star*.
