Reflection

Sometimes in life, we tend to see things based on surface value and straight jumped into conclusion. But sometimes things cannot simply judge based on surface value. Take this photo for example, if I were to show you this photo without the reflection in the river, I bet that you would not know that there was a tall building behind the low rise building. 

Likewise for fengshui, masters usually prefer to visit site to have better understanding of the surrounding rather than giving comments based on photos taken. 

Bamboo plants - the fengshui cure

Some of you may have heard of using plants to correct a fengshui problem. And some of you may even heard that bamboo plants can do a wonderful job on that.

Whatever it is, bamboo plants have been one of my favourite plants, I like them because they are beautiful!

Yueh Hai Ching Temple 粤海清宫 Yue Hai Qing Gong

Yueh Hai Ching Temple was built in the 1820s. Also known as Temple of Love, this temple is well known for people to seek for 姻缘 Yin Yuan (Marriage). It is believed that people who offer their prayers to Elder of Moon deity, 月老 Yue Lao, can have their wishes come true. 

To seek a fruitful happiness, all you need to do is to place a red string onto Elder of Moon deity, 月老 Yue Lao idol and pray. If you are looking for a true love, you may want to give it a try. May happiness be with you soon.

Siang Cho Keong Temple 仙祖宫 Xian Zu Gong

Siang Cho Keong Temple was built in 1869 by Hokkiens, it is a Taoist Temple that meant to dedicate to Tua Peck Kong. 

Surrounding this temple are fast developing buildings, next to this temple is the Amoy Street Food Centre.

Siang Cho Keong Temple is located at 66 Amoy Street (S)069886 .

Thian Hock Keng Temple 天福宫 Tian Fu Gong

Thian Hock Keng Temple or it is also known as a Temple of Heavenly Bliss has a long history, it was built in 1840. The purpose of the temple in the early days was meant for chinese immigrants, whom came all the way from China via sea transport, to offer their prayers for their safe journey.

And during the early 20th century, Thian Hock Keng temple has been a gathering point for Hokkien community. Apart from that, Empress Dowager Cixi (慈禧太后) of Qing Court bestowed an Imperial Calligraphic Panel on the temple in 1907.

It was a "bull" run after all

Last friday, I mentioned that some websites stated that Friday the 13th was considered as an unlucky day for stocks but based on Heavenly Stem and Earthly branches on that day, which was a Fire element day. Fire element would favour stocks. 

A check on last friday Straits Times Index (STI), it shows that STI registered the biggest jump for that day, it closed 5.6% higher or 83.99points. The indices across the Asia pacific region also fared pretty well, most of the indices closed on average of 3% higher. However, there were 3 indices in negative territory.

So it seems like Fire element day really favour our stocks? Or was it just a pure coincidence? Only time will tell.

Is Friday the 13th!

So is Friday the 13th an unlucky day? According to some websites, they claimed that Friday the 13th is usually an unlucky day for stocks.

But looking at today's Heavenly stem and Earthly branches is consisted of 丁 Ding Fire and 己 Ji Fire. There are masters who used Heavenly stem and Earthly branches to deduce the stock market's direction, in their research they believe that stocks belong to Fire element therefore they would regard that Fire element is good for stocks. Based on this assumption, stocks should be good for today!?

As I do not go into research on stocks using Heavenly Stem and Earthly branches, and I have to admit that I know NOTHING about stocks, let alone using such method to deduce market's outcome. The only thing that I can say is we will be able to know the answer at today's market closing.

Assuming that masters are correct using the above method, maybe we will expect every stock markets in every part of the world end up having the same outcome? Well, again we will know the answer at the of today's markets closing.

Crossroad

Which path will you choose, left path or right path? The choice is yours...... 

Many time in life, you may come to a point when you have to make a decision. Everybody is bound to face such critical moment, I am no exception to it. But I have to admit that there were times that I did use Qi Men Dun Jia to assist me. 

What I did was to plot the Qi Men Dun Jia chart based on the time which I wanted an answer. From the chart, I would deduce the outcome of the event. So far, it had never failed me. In fact, I was "saved" a couple of times! I really cannot imagine what would happen if I did not check the chart.

Birthday Greeting to my dear friends....

It seems like this month I have a lot of friends were born during this period. And based on my observations, those friends of mine who were born during this period seems to be smarter and luckier....and of cos prettier too! You girls will be happy if you were to see this, right?
