I could feel the earth moved!!!

This evening at about 6.20 pm or so, I was at my client's place when suddenly I saw my client's table moved. Initially, I thought my eyes were too tired and they were playing trick on me. My client looked up and said,"Is an earthquake!"

After hearing the words from him, my heart started to beat faster as I had never experienced an earthquake before, even though I had been to Earthquake prone countries such as Japan for a couple of times.

Immediately, I squatted down. During that moment, my feelings were mixed, I was getting excited as this is my first time to experience earthquake and on the other hand, I could feel that I was feeling uneasy. I wondered whether my safety was at stake?!

The building was indeed moving, at one point of time. I could feel the building was "tilted" to one side and moved back to original position. And this whole episode lasted for about 5min or so, at one point of time, I almost wanted to run for my dear life but I did not.

Thanks goodness, our building structures are good. Our buildings are built with solid foundations, which made our buildings to withstand earthquake.

Overseas Trip

The Key to better relationship

Just a couple of hours ago, I was attending a friend's wedding in Orchard area. This friend of mine got married after knowing his wife for merely less than a year.

My friend is so confident that he had made the right choice to tie the knots even though he knew that I was hinting to him that it was rather too "fast" to tie the knots after I heard him saying that he knew his wife for less than a year. He assured me that their relationship is a prefect match, and he even shared with me the KEY to better relationship is COMMUNICATION.

He told me that he and his wife have a lot of things in common, despite the fact that they had known each other for just only a short span of time but to them it seemed like they had knew each other for ages!

Well, after witnessing them walking the red carpet in the wedding dinner. I start to believe that my friend is right. He and his wife seemed to communicate in a unique manner, their unison gestures also proved that they are a perfect match. So remember guys, Communication is the Key to the better relationship.

Dairy Farm Nature Park

Visited the newly opened nature park at Dairy Farm Road. This new park is rather different from other parks which I have visited before. First of all, you get to visit the shed which was used to house all the cows, now it has converted to education purpose use.



Look out for cows!



This quarry is about 3km away from car park B. And it takes about 30min to walk to this quarry. Along the way, you need to pass through some "mini-forest". Anyway it is not that hard to walk. Guess is a great place for those men who missed their army days.

To enjoy the fresh crispy air and cool air embracing you, the best time to visit this park is early in the morning. I strongly suggest that you should start the walk at 6.30am so that you can complete the whole walk before the scorching sun.
