Time flies! Just a few more hours to go, we will be counting down to year 2009. And is party time!

For the past few years, I have not joined any countdown party but this year, I will be doing something special..... Okie, I will not let the cat out of the bag yet. Do stay tuned.... I will post it here.

The "power" of soil.

We use soil to grow plants or cultivate vegetables, thus soil can be useful if properly used. But on the other hand, unattended soil or soil with withered plants can be potent, usually it will dissipate bad qi. And it will affect your fengshui.

Therefore, if your house have pots of soil that have been left unattended, my advice is to discard them.

Unique X'mas card from Japan

あきこ、まなみ　と　みほ　さん。　おげんですか？　私わ　も　できですね。　Christmas かど　ども　ありがと、　私わ　すき　ですね。

I want to thanks my friends from Japan for sending me such an unique christmas card, but it looks more like a christmas present to me. This christmas card that I received can be fold and turn into a letter holder. See photos below.

This is really a good concept, usually when Christmas period is over, most of us would keep the Christmas cards in the drawers. However, with this concept, we can turn christmas card into a useful item.

Once the christmas card is turned into a letter box. If you were to look though the front elevation, the box has 3-D effect.

There are 3 slots which can be used to hold letters.

Another 8 hours to Christmas Day...

I am counting down.....8 more hours to go, is Christmas Day! Hope that tonight weather is going to be nice so that everyone out there can celebrate.

Guess I will do something meaningful tonight.

Finally....

Finally, our flyer has resumed its operation. And of course, the release of trapped passengers in the capsules.It was reported that a fire broke out at flyer's control room which resulted the flyer to stop.

There were more than 170 people trapped in this incident. And it took almost 7 hours to have all the trapped passengers to release from the capsules. For more information on this incident, click on the following links :

Let it snow! Merry Christmas to you.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. If only Singapore snows.... Christmas is just less than 2 days away! How are you going to celebrate your Christmas? Last minute shopping for some of you, I suppose. As for me, I still have not decided what to do on Christmas eve. Anyway, I do not celebrate Christmas but I still like Christmas season, after all is feastive mood. Sort of warm feeling, maybe because is time for giving?

Talking about giving, news have been reported that this year our Charity organisations are receiving lesser gifts this year as compared to last year. Looks like the current economy crisis has affected people mood to spend and to give. Nevertheless, I hope that more of you can come forward to donate, if you can.

Last but not least, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas. Merry Xmas!

Five elements - The fundamental

Guess you must have heard of Jin (Metal) Mu (Wood) Shui (Water) Huo (Fire) Tu (Earth) 金木水火土? Yes, these are the fundamental for a bazi or fengshui enthusiast. Before one can proceed to the next higher level; the complexities of metaphysics studies, the basic fundamental should manage well first.

And do not under estimate these basic five elements, they are very useful when they are used for analysis. Why do I say so? Well, if you were to look at the Five elements - cycle of birth.

Earth produces Metal, while Metal produces Water, Water in turn produces Wood, thus Wood produces Fire, Fire will return back to Earth.

If you are doing bazi analysis, if you have identified the element of your subject (Person). You can find clues from the bazi, for example :

IN this set of bazi, the lady belongs to 己Ji Earth element (Day master). From here, we can search for clues on this person. For simple illustration,If someone were to ask about her mother. With the information here, we can see check for the element that produces her element, in this instance, it will be Fire. From here, we can deduce that her mother is close to her.

If you were wondering this person's creativeness, check for her output. From the above bazi, there is no metal element. Therefore, we can deduce that this person is not creative.

With such illustration, you can have a rough idea how bazi master analyse your bazi.

In fengshui, five elements also play an important part in fengshui analysis. For example, if a main door faces East direction (East represents Wood), in such condition, ideally there should NOT have any Metal element.

I would like to wish everybody a Happy Dong Zhi. According to Ten Thousand Calender 万年历, Dong Zhi starts at 1951hrs today.

In Qi Men Dun Jia, now we are in Yang Dun 阳盾. Meaning the Yang energy is rising!

Of late, I have been receiving calls and sms asking me the auspicious date and time to commence work (Kai Gong 开工) during CNY.

Auspicious Date will be 30 Jan 2009, Fri. (5th day of Chinese New Year)
Auspicious Time will be 3pm to 4.30pm.

Please note : born in year of Snake should AVOID using this date.

Qi Men Dun Jia tells you what is going to be asked

Last saturday evening, while I was watching the news, my mobile phone rang. I answered the call, it was my friend C. He asked whether I could help his cousin by using Qi Men Dun Jia.

I told him to hold on while I went to pick up my PDA to check the chart. The chart was as follows:

After looking at the chart, I asked him," Does your cousin want to know something about his employee?" And I quickly added," Is a lady employee!" My friend answered," Yes!" Then we went on to discuss the details on the Qi Men Dun Jia Chart.

As you can see Qi Men Dun Jia is a powerful tool, it can give you an insight what is going to be asked. Apart from that, if a person who has Qi Men Dun Jia knowledge, it would allow him to use the current time frame to choose an auspicious location to accomplish a task with least effort.

Walking out of the dark

Everybody knows that times are bad now. And everyone seems to be worried about keeping his own job, unless you have the intention to leave your present post in next couple of months.

Question is, "When can we walk out of the dark?" Using liu nian tian gan and di zhi 流年天干与地支, to analyse . Looks like things will not be getting any better for the time being. And year 2010, which is 2 years later, is going to be another challenging year ahead. Looks like going to be a long tough journey.

A rural lifestyle

A friend of mine suggested that we should pay a visit to Kranji Farm Resort, this is a newly opened resort which has a layout designed like olden days kampong but with modern facilities. Surrounding the resort are plantations such as rice, maze and sugarcane. It was indeed an eye opener for a city dweller like me, as I have never seen a big plantation in Singapore before.

Anyway for those who have lived in kampong before and miss kampong lifestyle, this may be a good place for you to recall the good old days.

As for those who have never lived in kampong before, but keen to try. You can book one of those kampong houses, there are total of 20 such houses. Not to worry about hot weather, every house is fully air-conditioned.

To make thing easier for you, a private carpark complete with automated gate is provided in front of each house. Behind the house is the balcony, which you can sit down with your loved one to enjoy stars glazing at night.

There are alot of things which you can do and find in the resort; spa, seafood restaurant, bicycle kiosk, billard, shops and many more. Apart from that, there are various types of farms in the vicinity, which you can visit. Is a good place for family outing too!
