21 Dec 2012 - Dong Zhi 冬至

Of late, there have been alot of reports about 21 Dec 2012, it seems like that there are some believers believe that this date will mark the end of the world.

Well, to some, this date 21 Dec 2012 is Dong Zhi 冬至 which is also known as Winter solstice - the longest night. So to the latter, they may just dismiss this belief - end of the world.

So it is true that 21 Dec 2012 will be our last Dong Zhi for the entire world? Well, we will know when the day comes!

Anyway for those who are keen in bazi or also known as four pillars. Here is the bazi based on Dong Zhi time：

庚丙壬壬
戌辰子辰

Based on the bazi, some points which may worth taking a look : A super weak fire day which sits on earth. The fire is weaken by the earth underneath and in addition to that, this weak fire is further weaken by the 2 water element on top. These 2 water element are deemed to be very strong as they are supported by the metal element and the winter season. Hope that the weak fire will not be extinguished by the strong water!

Apart from that, there are clashes among the earth elements in the bazi, such clashes may result earth movement. With such observation, let's hope for the best. Pray hard that there will be no earthquake or tsunami on this date.

Use fengshui to improve your well-being!

There is a saying, Yiming (一命 ), Eryun (二运), San Fengshui (三风水), which directs translation would be Firstly is Destiny, Secondly is Luck, Thirdly is Fengshui.

It is believed that Destiny and Luck which are predestined, therefore are not able to change. So a person's luck and destiny are depend on his Four Pillars (Bazi 八子). Take for example, if a person who has good Bazi and in addition, his luck cycle is good.  Chances of him having good luck will be high and vice verse.

So what can a person do if lady luck is not on his side? Well, use Fengshui! Fengshui is not magic, is just making use of the right place, right time to tap the best energy to enhance one's luck! So how does it work? That depend on how a person wants to improve his luck. For example, if a student's academic results are not ideal despite that he has put in alot of hard work. Use Fengshui to find the ideal location to place his study desk and on top of that, can use Fengshui ornament to further enhance his studies luck!

Besides that, Fengshui can be used to improve relationship, wealth and well-being. If you are wondering why you are still lack of that little luck? Well, I guess you know what to do now! Good luck!

In search of Green Dragon and White Tiger

Recently, I visited China in search of Green Dragon and White Tiger. The journey to my destination was indeed challenging as I had to take 2 different types of transportation mode - Subway and bus. And the best part of the journey was: I had to change to another bus along the way. To alight at a place which I could not even recall the street name and change to another bus was really challenging. And not to forget, that was my first time there going there!

Despite all the challengers, I was still very determined to visit this place as it is believed to have the best fengshui in this part of China. Finally, it took me almost 3hours to reach my destination!

After visited this place, the hours spent on the road was really worth it.

Why marriage is on the rock?

This is a true story that I got to know through a contact. A young lady who just got married this year, just only a week in their marriage life, yet they are on the verge of divorcing! So what has gone wrong?

A check in her bazi reveals that she is not supposed to get married this year! In Bazi analysis, when a person's bazi has clashes in the house of spouse, there are certain years to avoid for getting married. If one really has no choice but to wed, then my advise is to get an auspicious date for the wedding.

It is a pity that she did not consult me on her bazi neither on the wedding date, if not, I would have advised her otherwise.

For those who are planning to get married soon, why not have your bazi checked? It will be even better if you can have your wedding date selected by a master. Good luck!

Fish breeding farm - an interesting fact!

Yesterday I had a rare opportunity to visit a fish breeding farm located in Malaysia.

This fish farm is not those types of fish farm which you can find in Singapore. The farm that I visited is located in the sea, this farm produces Snapper and Grouper that we usually consume.

Throughout my short stay in the farm, I witnessed the process of preparing the fish net to collect fish eggs.

What surprised me was this interesting fact, female fish lay more eggs in lunar month 4th and 19th day!  And my wild guess for this fact is that  "energy" from the moon could have made the fish to produce more eggs? Or you have the correct answer to this?

Why the path leading to your main door is important!

You may have heard Fengshui masters saying that path leading to main door is important. Have you ever thought of the reason why it is so important?

Let me quote you one example, imagine you are living in this kelong or running a business in this kelong. In order to reach you, your visitors have to cross these wooden planks.

Now, imagine if the wooden planks are not strong and stable, do you think your visitor will visit you? Well, the answer is NO!

Let me show you another example, if your wooden planks is damaged like the one shown in the photo below. Will your visitor continue to visit you? Again, the answer is NO!

So, to have a better luck and energy, you need to remember this : Your path leading to your front door must be good and clean. Start clearing all the rubbish leading to your front door and

repair all the damages in front of your main door.

Possible flooding

It has been a long time since my last entry. Lately, I have been doing some research on China as I am hoping to travel there soon to do my fengshui research again.

While I was searching some information, I came across this article about possible flooding from Xinhua website, according to that article - there is a possibility of floodings along the country's rivers due to the increased rainfall. For those who have engaged my annual fengshui service earlier this year or if you have read my 2012 forecast , I mentioned that this year Heavenly Stem Ren 壬 (Water) is sitting on Earthly Branches Chen 辰 (Earth), and if this earth cannot hold the water well, floods would be expected.

Dragon babies preferred

Dragon year always brings more babies. True enough, it was reported in the local newspaper that more babies were born in the first quarter of this year as compared to last year first quarter. Let's hope that this number will increase, if not we will face a shrinking population issue from 2025 onwards.

Luopan

If someone asks you, "What is the thing that is associated with Fengshui master"? What will be the first thing that comes to your mind?

If your answer is his tool - Luopan. I guess you are right.  So what is Luopan? And what does it do? For those who are curious about Luopan, you may want to read on.

Luopan is actually a compass except that it contains more information other than the general directions. The additional information are important to Fengshui masters, as these information can help them to derive answers. Why is this so? For example, Masters that use flying stars method will need the precise information obtained from Luopan to help them to plot the flying star charts. Only with precise information, the analysis on the fengshui will be correct.

But nevertheless, not all masters use flying star method to conduct fengshui audits. There are other masters that use other methods, such as San He, Xuan Kong Da Guan, Ba Zha just to name a few, to do fengshui audits as well. And because of the different methods used to conduct fengshui audit, therefore Luopan also varies!

So the next time you see a Luopan, you know that is a compass!

A couple of days ago, I heard from the news that floodings in NSW was bad. Was trying to search for that piece of news but ended up finding this website where it contains photos on floods. Today will mark the official taking over of new Zodiac animal - Dragon. Here I would like to wish everyone a Happy Dragon Year!

I was told that such thing will only happen in Li Chun 立春......Egg stands by itself! Give it a try! Please note that egg must be placed on the Ground floor.

This morning I read this interesting article about Dragon baby from The Sunday Times, it was reported that babies born before Li Chun is yet to be a Dragon baby. As I have shared in my previous articles, babies that are born after Li Chun are then considered as the next zodiac animal for the new year.

Okay, hope with the article from The Sunday Times, everyone has a clearer picture on Zodiac animal. Happy 人日 to all of you! Happy Birthday!

A wet start on the First day of Lunar New Year

Today marks the first day of Lunar New Year and it started to rain when the clock struck at midnight.  What does this wet start mean? Will it bring more "wealth"? Or will it bring more water for this year? Well, we will know the answer towards the end of the year.
