Blood Donation Drive

This evening while I was watching TV programme, there was this advertisement on Blood Donation Drive Campaign trying to attract more people to come forward to donate blood. That was my second time to see that advertisement, the first time I saw that advertisement was a few days back. When the advertisement was aired, I was wondering whether more blood were required? As such advertisement was required?

For those who have not donated before, you may wondering is donating blood a painful experience? Well, donating blood is quite a painless process. And the whole process does not take you very long time to donate too. You need not have to worry about the blood withdrawn from our body because our body can reproduce those "lost" blood.

Therefore, I strongly urge people who are healthy should come forward to donate blood on a regular basis. It makes you feel good because you know that you are donating blood for a good cause. So save a lives, start your donation now.

If you want to donate blood, you can visit the following websites for more information:
http://www.hsa.gov.sg/publish/hsaportal/en/health_services/blood_donation/location.html
http://www.redcross.org.sg/serv_bdrp.htm

I will be heading to blood bank soon to contribute my 25th donation.

Same birthday = same luck?

Babies who are on the same day, will they have same kind of luck when they grow up? The answer is No. The reason? Well, there are few theories behind it but in this case, I will share with you how a birth time can alter a person's luck.

If using Zi Wei Dou Shu to plot a person's life chart, we can assess the star brightness in his life chart. If assuming that two babies who were born on the same day, both have Tai Yang (Sun) in their life palace. Who will be luckier? Baby A born during the daytime or Baby B born during night-time?

The answer is Baby A! Because his Tai Yang (Sun) in his life palace will benefit from his birth time.

Likewise, if babies who have Tai Ying (Moon) in their life palace and born during night-time would be better. So next time when there is a new born that is going to arrive, do take note of the baby's birth time!

Expiry date for fengshui ornament?

The first time I bought 6 metal coins at one of those fengshui stores was many years back , I remembered the sales assistant asked me whether my purchase was under any instructions from any master? She shared with me that 6 metal coins must hung at correct place, and she even told me not to hang the 6 metal coins during night time. Good service, I thought.

Before I left the store, she reminded me to replace the 6 metal coins one year later..... I was surprised to hear that! I left the store without asking her the reason.

So does fengshui ornament have expiry date? So far, I have yet to come across any books or fengshui masters saying that.

Blow away?

Are you one of those people that have the habit of whistling? Maybe you want to have a second thought after reading this posting?

A few years back, while I was doing the face reading research, I came across a book written by a master. In his book, he mentioned that faces that look like blowing whistle, were not good. In fact, such looks could make a person blow his good luck away.

So next time, if you want to whistle, you may want to think twice?

********************************************************************************

I am just sharing what I read from a book, whether this is true or not? At this point of time of writing, I still have not got the answer. Maybe if you know anything about this? You would like to share with me?

Using Qi Men Dun Jia to check the competiton outcome

Yesterday, I was chatting with my friend, he shared with me that he and his group of friends have joined a snooker competition which would be held today. As he was anxious to know the outcome of this competition, he asked me if I could use Qi Men Dun Jia to check what would be their chances of winning the snooker competition.

I turned on my PDA, and I told him that the Qi Men Dun Jia chart showed that he would be defeated in the game. And it seemed like his competitor have a stronger edge in winning the game.

This morning, my friend sms me to inform me that they have lost the game without
competing. The reason? They were shortage of players to form the team. It was a walkover for their competitor.

No knocking please....

Before I started to learn fengshui and bazi, I used to hear from older folks that when a woman was pregnant, nailing, knocking or moving furnitures around the house would be prohibited. I did not understand the logic behind this? What has nailing and knocking in the house got to do with pregnancy?

When I learnt fengshui from my first master, he explained that using a woman's bazi, we could actually determine a woman conception position in the house. So in any case, when someone knock intentionally or unintentionally could accidentally "hurt" a pregnant woman womb.

Therefore, is strongly advised not to do any form of renovation or knocking in the house when someone in your house is expecting.

When are you going .....

Sometimes when I meet some of my friends or even customers, they would ask me," Francis, when are you going to become a full time Fengshui practitioner?" I would share with them, the feedback I got when I did fengshui for others.

Generally, alot of those people that do not know me, feel that I look too "young" to understand fengshui, let alone to provide fengshui service for them or others. The fact that I did not share with them was, I started to research fengshui back in year 2000. Up to this date, I have learnt from 8 great masters, the various arts of metaphysics.

Talking about "young", I can still remember that there was one occasion when I went for a house viewing for a client, the property agent was "surprised" to see me there. She even commented that I looked too young to be a master!? I had mixed feelings after hearing her comment, I felt happy because I really looked young but the cruel fact is I am not that young!

So masters who appear to be older tend to be better, that is how generally people feel when come to fengshui masters. But there is one thing that they do not realise is; how long have the masters been practising? The fact is some masters did not even start early to learn fengshui, some could have just started learning this art not long ago!

As for me, I will continue to research and learn this art (other fengshui methods) from other great masters. For the time being, I will provide my fengshui service in part time basis. To become a full time fengshui practitioner, I guess I will be ready for it when there are more people approaching for my service.

Lucky Man

I known him since 2003, he in his 50s and runs his own business in Clarke Quay. A very humble man by nature, who always shared his experiences with us. He is just like other men in his age except that he has special touch with numbers, yes 4-D numbers!

A lot of my friends have been telling me that he is good in numbers and he has striked a lot of times, he is indeed a lucky man! I wonder how did he get those numbers from? Or did he pray for those numbers? I asked myself.

Personally, I seldom place bets on 4-D but I was really curious to know how did he do it. Finally today I got the chance to talk to him. Before I could ask him how did he strike, he broke the news that just yesterday he striked 5 sets of numbers out of 23 sets of numbers, can you believe it? And that was not his first time to strike so many sets of numbers in one draw. His highest record was to strike 7 sets of numbers in one draw! Hard to believe right?

So I asked him how often would he strike 4-D out of the 52 weeks per year? His replied was at least once a month, and during good time, he could consecutive win in almost every draws. In my heart, I told myself this guy must be damned rich.

Without missing my opportunity, I asked him what was his secret formula to strike so many times? No secret formula was his reply. But he added, he did not spend any single cents on his winnings. He donated all his winnings to charity! He believes that by donating his winnings to charity has brought him the luck. He even explained that those poor people need those money much more than him. "Then why would you want to bet on 4-D?" I asked. He replied with a smile, just for the sake of charity and fun. A noble man!
