Yes, your eye is not playing trick. That is Metro logo, our Singapore Metro in Shanghai! I was attracted to this big billboard during my recent trip in Shanghai. I like the creativity of the building design, which is shaped like a dome. On top of that, the dome is lit up by lights.

Of course, I did not miss the opportunity to shop inside this shopping mall. I was surprised to see alot of familiar local names inside this shopping mall. Like the famous Bread Talk, Food Republic and many more.... For the first time in a foreign country, I felt like I was like shopping in a "local ambience", I must admit that the feeling was good. For Singaporeans who are stationed in Shanghai and if they miss home, maybe they can shop here. This may help them to feel that they are just one step closer to home.

Bai Cai 白菜 is Chinese cabbage which have similar sound like Bai Cai 百财, Hundreds Wealth. Therefore, is believed that by using Bai Cai 百菜, one can receive good luck and good fortune. Good news and good things do come together....

Recently a friend of mine shared with me his good news that his wife is pregnant again! And not long after that, he made a small windfall. See, this is a good living example that good news and good things do come together. The most important thing is to stay positive! So long you have this positive thinking, everything you do will be smooth.

Cosplay

Didn't know that our youths here in Singapore love Cosplay so much. Was rather surprised to see such a big group of them at Suntec on last weekend. In fact, I must say that our cosplay here are as good as those cosplay which I saw in Japan, Tokyo-Harajuku.

Guess the youths must have spent a bomb on those costumes. Check this one out... With big wings!




They were happily posing. Actually, such events should be encouraged, after all is healthy event. At least, the youth are pursuing their dreams...

This is the best! With big wings.... really have to salute to this young man. He must have spent a bomb on these wings... wondering how is he going to manage with such big wings... Will he get the chance to demonstrate how he flies?
