I am reading....

Lately, I have been busy with my projects. Despite my busy schedule, I still managed to find some time to read this book "The Mile Hi! Club - Memoirs of A Stewardess" by Janet Chew. In this book, the author shares her life being a Stewardess and at the same time, revealed some interesting events that took place during her 13 years stints.

I guess this is a MUST read book for those who are interested to become a flight attendant. Or if you are someone who is interested to find out more about the lifestyle of a Stewardess, then you must really catch hold of this book.

Apart from the interesting lifestyle of a Stewardess, this book also touched on the negative sides of some passengers (I hope that there are not too many of such passengers around!). To find out more, get yourself a copy of this book. Maybe from this book, we can take some cues on How to make flying a better experience for everyone.

Talking about Air Steward, I ever applied to become one, can you believe that? Is true...I really did that but that was 13 years ago! Back then, I was still young and just completed my National Service, I thought the best job to take up would be a job that allowed me to travel overseas and at the same time, I could enjoy my holidays.

I applied Flight Attendant position when they placed an advertisement in the paper. Thanks god... I even got myself shortlisted for an interview. It was a memorable experience. So I waited for the interview day to come, I was ready for it.

Guess at that point of time, I did not know about Qi Men Dun Jia if not, I would have chosen the right time and the right place to be. So was it because back then that I did not know Qi Men Dun Jia, and that could have cost me to fail my very first round? Maybe not...

Sometimes, I wonder if I were lucky enough to get myself into Flight Attendant career, what will I be now? Would I still have the chance to learn Bazi, Face reading, Fengshui, Qi Men Dun Jia and Zi Wei Dou Shu? Maybe not....

So is not a bad thing after all, as not being able to become one of them (Flight Attendants). Life still goes on, maybe with a better prospect! Anyway below are two photos of the interview letter - outcome.

The letter came after my first round of interview. I am still keeping this letter to remind myself that I ever applied Air Steward position.

The brown card stating that my application was not successful. A great disappointment but think about it now, it could be a good thing after all.

Fengshui changed after renovation

A few day ago, I had lunch at one of the oldest hawker centres. I like this hawker centre is because I can find alot of good and cheap food there. And the best part is that place just had a major renovation not long ago.

As far as I can remember, that hawker centre used to be crowded during lunchtime, and looking for a parking space can be challenging too! However, my last visit there was not very crowded despite it was lunchtime, an unusual sign.

Anyway, I proceeded to the stall that sell fish soup, there was no queue at all, another surprise for me. The fish stall used to have very long queue and waiting time could last at least ten minutes or so before you could place your order. So really surprised that I did not have to wait for my food!

While I was having my food, that fishsoup seller was telling her next customer that her business had been affected after the renovation. She even commented that other hawker centres, their business are also affected after renovation.

Talking about other hawker centres, there is another place which I always like to go. Their business also seemed to be affected after the major renovation, it was unlike their past, used to be crowded.

If you are wondering what could have caused that? Well, in my opinion is the renovation work could have changed their Fengshui period and thus, their fengshui have changed. So it is important to note that having renovation work on a good fengshui place can have adverse affect! So the best thing to do is to consult a master first before carrying any form of renovation. Review on 2010 forecast

Time really flies! Just another couple of days to go, it will be June. In other words, we are almost completing half of 2010. Wow...so what is going to happen from now onwards? But before I talk more about the later of the year. Let's review my forecast for 2010, I wrote that article " What is in 2010?" in last september.

In that article, I mentioned that this year is a metal Tiger, which means that metal sitting on top of a wood. And based on that note, I mentioned that we may expect possible conflict, control and challenges. So elections, power struggle or fighting are something that we could expect. Well, if you have been following the news lately, you would have known that Thailand had just ended some unrest between two different camps and just a few days ago, North Korea and South Korea had some conflicts which are making them in very tense mode now.

And I also touched on our economy issue in my forecast for 2010. I mentioned that this year, we would be facing another great challenge. And at this point of writing, EU crisis is still yet to resolve and I am not expecting any immediate solution to this crisis in the short term.

So apart from those bad news, is there anything good that we can expect? Well, in my opinion - election! Till then, we will know.

Stove position is important!

In fengshui, one of the most important things is to have your stove placed at the correct position. Please do not disregard stove's position is something not important, placing it at the wrong position will cost you alot more that what you can think of!

Likewise, if you have placed your stove in the correct position and face it at the right direction, chances of you enjoying good fortune will be higher.

Use Qi Men Dun Jia to understand a situation

Still remember my earlier posting regarding my friend 's maid did not turn up the airport the other time and I demostrated the use of Qi Men Dun Jia to forecast that outcome. Now, my friend wants to hire another new maid, this morning at about 11.06am, he sent me a sms asking me would his new maid be okay?

Looking at the chart for a moment, I replied him via sms, "Looks like agency is saying alot of good thing about her."And my friend replied me back,"Yes, she was."

But at that point of time, there was one thing which I was very sure of. My friend would not be able to get this new maid. Reason is because the chart already showed me that his question was an invalid question.

True enough, my friend emailed in the afternoon that at the moment he would not be able to get her.
