Japan Culture (Part 4)

Make a guess, what is the red box for? Let me give you a clue, if you feel that you need some advices, you may want to seek an answer from "external source". Have you got it?

The red box is おみくじ pronounce as O-mi-Ku-ji in Japanese, meaning fortune. The red box contains a lot of small packets which have fortune written inside, in other words is actually a form of divination. Usually meant for people who want to know an asnwer from god or interested to know what is lie ahead of them.

This is my first time to come across this red box. Before you draw the lot, you need to insert 200 Yen (S$3) into the coin slot. There are few type of lot choices that you can choose from, you can even draw the lot based on your blood group, interesting isn't it?

Are you a B Group Blood person?
